Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Laveer product and related services (the "Service"), operated by Unlimited Wisdom Limited, a company incorporated in the Isle of Man under company number 021982V ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

This is a subscription service that automatically renews. Please read these Terms — especially Section 3 ("Subscriptions and Payments") — and our Subscription Policy carefully before starting a free trial or completing a purchase. To avoid being charged, you must cancel your subscription or free trial before the end of the current period. Deleting the app, logging out or sending a support email does not cancel your subscription. For cancellation instructions, see Section 3.6 below.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR U.S. USERS: WHEN YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU ARE AGREEING (WITH LIMITED EXCEPTIONS) TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND THE COMPANY THROUGH BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION 11 ("DISPUTE RESOLUTION") CAREFULLY.

1. The Service

1.1 What Laveer Is

Laveer is an AI-powered self-discovery app. It offers guided voice sessions, cognitive exercises, and self-reflection tools to help you explore your reasoning patterns, values, and decision-making.

1.2 What Laveer Is Not

Laveer is not therapy, and it's not a medical service. We don't provide medical advice, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, diagnosis, or any form of healthcare. Laveer is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment.

Any scores, metrics, or insights the app generates — including the Clarity Score, cognitive profiles, or reflection metrics — are tools for personal self-development. They are not clinical or diagnostic measurements and should not be treated as such.

If you're experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified mental health professional immediately.

1.3 AI-Generated Content

Laveer uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, insights, and recommendations. AI output sometimes may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your situation. Please use your own judgment, and seek professional advice for important life decisions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use Laveer. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow users under 16 to create accounts or use the Service.

2.2 Account Registration

You can create an account using your email and password or through Apple ID. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Please make sure the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free and Paid Features

Some features of Laveer require a paid subscription. You'll always see the available plans and pricing within the app or on our website before you're asked to pay.

3.2 How You Can Pay

There are two ways to subscribe to Laveer:

Through the App Store (Apple In-App Purchase). Your payment is processed by Apple. Apple's terms and policies apply to the transaction, including billing, renewals, and refunds. We don't receive your payment card details and we can't change the period of your trial without your consent.

Through our website (direct purchase). Your payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. When you purchase through our website:

3.3 How Subscriptions Work

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — weekly, monthly, or annually, depending on the plan you chose.

App Store subscriptions: The renewal charge is applied to your Apple ID payment method within 24 hours before the end of your current period. Renewal is at the same rate unless Apple has notified you of a price change.

Website subscriptions: The renewal charge is applied to your payment method on the renewal date at the same rate, unless we've notified you of a price change (see Section 3.5).

To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel before the renewal date. See Section 3.6 for how.

3.4 Free Trials

We may offer trial periods from time to time. Here's what you need to know:

3.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices for new subscribers or upon renewal. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect on your subscription.

App Store subscriptions: Price changes follow Apple's own process. Apple will notify you and may require you to agree to the new price before renewal.

Website subscriptions: We'll notify you by email or in-app notification. The new price applies to your next billing period after the notice. If you don't agree, please cancel before the new price takes effect.

Price changes never affect an active billing period you've already paid for.

Cancellations are always free of charge.

3.6 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how:

App Store subscriptions: Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device, find Laveer, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You can also visit Apple Support.

Website subscriptions: Cancel through your account settings at laveer.ai.

In both cases, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to paid features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Logging out from your account does not cancel your subscription.

3.7 Refunds

App Store subscriptions: Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy. To request one, visit Apple Support. We don't control Apple's refund decisions. Apple has data about your app subscription status and usage for processing your request.

Website subscriptions: To request a refund, email support@laveer.ai with your account details and reason. We'll respond within 10 business days. We follow all steps required by law to settle your requests.

For EU residents: Under the Consumer Rights Directive, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase. However, by using Laveer — starting a voice session, completing a questionnaire, or receiving AI-generated insights — you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the Service and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right once performance begins. If you haven't used the Service at all within 14 days of purchase, you can still request a full refund at support@laveer.ai.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds if we detect abuse, including repeated requests, fake account creation, sharing personal accounts across users or other fraudulent activity.

3.8 Chargebacks

If you have a billing issue, please contact us at support@laveer.ai first. If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider without contacting us, we may suspend your account until the matter is resolved.

4. User Conduct

4.1 What You Can Do

Use Laveer for its intended purpose: personal self-reflection and cognitive development.

4.2 What You Can't Do

Please don't:

4.3 Your Content

You own what you create in Laveer — your voice recordings, text inputs, journal entries, and so on. By using the Service, you give us a limited licence to process, store, and analyse your encrypted content solely for providing and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete your account. You can request to delete your data or account at any time.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (d) content you submit through the Service. This obligation survives termination of your account.

6. Customer Support

We're committed to helping you get the most out of Laveer. If you have questions or run into issues, you can reach us through in-app channels, email, or other means we provide. While we aim to respond promptly, we can't guarantee specific response times.

We provide support at our discretion and aren't legally required to do so beyond what local law mandates. But we genuinely want to help when we can.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service — including its design, software, AI models, algorithms, content, trademarks, and logos — is owned by or licensed to Unlimited Wisdom Limited. These Terms don't give you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as described here.

7.2 Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose, without compensation.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Laveer, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described there.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES — EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Professional Advice

We don't guarantee that the Service will meet your needs, that insights will be accurate or applicable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We keep the right to introduce new functionality and remove existing one from access.

9.3 AI Limitations

AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You acknowledge that AI has inherent limitations and that you should use your own judgment when interpreting anything the Service produces.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Liability Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 IN EQUIVALENT CURRENCY.

10.2 Exclusion of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10.3 Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law — including liability for negligence causing death or personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you're a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you retain all your mandatory statutory rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Let's Try to Work It Out First

Before filing any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@laveer.ai. We ask that you give us at least 30 days to try to research and resolve the issue informally. Most problems can be sorted out without lawyers.

11.2 Arbitration (United States Users)

If you're in the United States and we can't resolve a dispute informally, we both agree to settle it through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.

YOU AND THE COMPANY EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

This doesn't apply to disputes that qualify for small claims court.

11.3 European and International Users

If you're in the EEA, the UK, or any jurisdiction that doesn't allow mandatory consumer arbitration, you can bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory consumer rights.

EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If you're outside the United States, this choice of law doesn't take away any consumer protections you're entitled to under the law of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes that affect your rights, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice through the app or by email.

If you keep using Laveer after updated Terms take effect, you're agreeing to the changes. If you disagree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

14. Account Termination

14.1 By You

You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. When you do, we'll delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention requirements.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We'll try to give you reasonable notice when possible. If we terminate your account without cause during an active subscription, we'll refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.

14.3 What Happens After

When your account is terminated, your access to the Service stops immediately. Sections that should logically survive — including indemnification (5), intellectual property (7), disclaimers (9), liability (10), dispute resolution (11), and governing law (12) — will continue to apply.

15. General

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Subscription Policy are the complete agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

15.3 No Waiver

If we don't enforce a provision, that doesn't mean we've waived it.

15.4 Assignment

You can't transfer your rights under these Terms. We can transfer ours without restriction.

15.5 Force Majeure

We're not liable for failures caused by things beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, war, government actions, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
